There are some that you send people to and the owner of the page collects the email addresses and information into their own email system without ever giving you the option to put your email optin forms on the page. These generating systems, introduce people to the owner and never you. Even if they give you the email addresses, you still have to introduce yourself to these people with the risk of them not knowing you.

Some collect the leads and then sell them to you. They will either collect email or phone numbers on the internet, put them in a lead system and then sell them. I personally get automated MLM calls and emails all the time from this kind of thing. Its very annoying and a waste of money. Same old tactic of telemarketing.
